This image is the first in a series of guardian shaman cats. Each one guards one of the cardinal directions, South, West, North and East, and the qualities those directions represent. I have included just a little information about each of the directions as well on every painting and print. The south is the place of the physical, of manifesting our dreams and ideas. It is our blood connection with the Mother Earth and the place of the child and living in trust. Red is the traditional color of the south as i have studied it with the Sisterhood of the Shields.
